The grapes, harvested in the first half of October, are mixed and vinified. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with a skin maceration of about 18-20 days. In order to obtain the mention “Superiore” maturation is as follows: 10 month in steel, 12 months in 500 l. tonneau barrels and 6 months in casks. Additional refining in bottle for six months.
Ruby-red colour with pomegranate glints. It is a wine full of character, warm and full- bodied palate, inklings of vanilla and spices, expressing great elegance and marked finesse. The tannins are juicy and silky with a very long finish.
Great meat dishes and ripe cheese.
