Vineyards situated in the municipal territory of Atzara, a hilly area rising up to 550 m.a.s.l., west of the Gennargentu mountains.

Medium-textured decayed granite tending to sandy, worked over the year with traditional technology.

Mandrolisai D.O.C.: A wine with controlled designation of origin (DOC) consisting of the following vines: Bovale Sardo (Muristellu), Cannonau, Monica and others.

Production System

the grapes, harvested in the first half of October, are mixed and vinified. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with a skin maceration of about 18-20 days. In order to obtain the mention “Superiore” maturation is as follows: 10 month in steel, 12 months in 500 l. tonneau barrels and 6 months in casks. Additional refining in bottle for six months.

Organoleptic Properties

Ruby-red colour with pomegranate glints. It is a wine full of character, warm and full- bodied palate, inklings of vanilla and spices, expressing great elegance and marked finesse. The tannins are juicy and silky with a very long finish.
