Vineyards situated in the municipal territory of Atzara, a hilly area in the Mandrolisai heartland, rising up to 550m a.s.l.
Medium-textured decayed granite tending to sandy.
With controlled designation of origin (DOC) consisting of the following vines: Bovale Sardo (Muristellu), Cannonau, Monica and others.
The vines are trained in goblets or espalier.
5000 vines/ha.

Average production per hectare is about 7.5 tonnes.

The grapes, harvested in October, are mixed and vinified. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with a skin maceration of about 7 days. Maceration in steel tanks, no passage in barrel.
The wine has a purple colour, with a long bouquet and inklings of red fruits and maquis, slightly peppery. Well-balanced and great softness.
It is an excellent companion of all meat dishes, venison and semi-cured cheese.
